Episode No. 243 of The Modern Art Notes Podcast is a Fourth of July holiday weekend clips show featuring artist Katharina Grosse.

Next week MoMA PS1 presents Rockaway! 2016, a public art installation at Fort Tilden in the Rockaways in which Grosse will turn Fort Tilden’s decaying aquatics building into an ‘exterior painting.’ The project is a collaboration between MoMA PS1, the Rockaway Artists Alliance, the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, the Central Park Conservancy, NYC Parks & Recreation and Rockaway Beach Surf Club.

This week’s episode was recorded for air in June, 2013, when Grosse was presenting a major exhibition at the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas.
