Episode No. 295 of The Modern Art Notes Podcast is a Fourth-of-July weekend holiday clips program featuring host Tyler Green’s 2014 conversation with artist Barkley L. Hendricks.

Hendricks’s work is now on view in “Barkley L. Hendricks: Works from the Collection” at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University. The exhibition is on view through July 30. The Nasher has one of the finest collections of Hendricks’s work.

Green and Hendricks conversed on the occasion of the exhibition “Witness: Art and Civil Rights in the Sixties,” which was then at the Brooklyn Museum.
